Job Summary:
The surgical technician specializing in operating room procedures is needed for a healthcare organization in a facility setting. This role involves supporting surgical teams during procedures, adhering to established protocols, and ensuring patient safety. The position offers a 12-hour shift schedule with potential on-call responsibilities on weekends and holidays.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts from 0645 to 1915, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification from either the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience in trauma, neurology, and orthopedic surgery.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Additional Information: The role includes assisting with cases that may extend past normal shift hours, with paid on-call time for hours beyond scheduled end times. Call coverage on weekends, holidays, and one weekday per week is required, with potential staying time up to two hours past shift hours. The start date is October 11, 2026, and the expected end date is January 9, 2027.
