Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position located in an area requiring professionals to be at least 50 miles from the facility. The role involves providing patient care on a Med Surg or Med Surg/Telemetry unit within a critical access hospital setting. The assignment offers a 12-hour night shift schedule, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, and the opportunity to work every other weekend.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Two years of recent Medical Surgical or Telemetry experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
  • Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital highly preferred
  • Current Med Surg or Med Surg/Telemetry skills checklist
  • Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Valid state license in New Hampshire
  • All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of submission
  • Permanent address must be included in the submission file
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous travel experience
  • Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital
• Additional Information:
  • RTO (Reasons To Out) requests should be limited to 3-5 days.
  • The housing situation can be challenging; candidates are encouraged to explore options prior to submitting.
  • Must be willing and able to float as needed.
