Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in the Reno area. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care within a hospital setting, utilizing clinical skills to monitor and respond to patients` telemetry rhythms. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, ensuring positive patient outcomes over the course of each care episode.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with the schedule varying based on department needs, including weekends, holidays, and call shifts. Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level and will be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
  • Required Qualifications: NV Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; must pass a telemetry competency exam that includes identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips; at least 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience; prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment.
  • Additional Information: This position requires mental alertness and ongoing assessment to ensure patient safety and outcomes. The RN will coordinate care across the healthcare team, providing age-specific care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role involves diagnosing and treating responses to health problems and supporting patient and family needs.
