Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a short-term acute care facility. The role involves providing specialized emergency care in a fast-paced environment, with duties spanning trauma, stroke, infectious diseases, and general emergency cases. This positions requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to established protocols and certifications.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license accepted; at least 1 year of ER experience; certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC; familiarity with the Epic charting system; minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma centers and critical care procedures; prior travel or community hospital experience; ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage multisystem organ failure.
• Additional Information: Must be available to work every other weekend and three of the five major holidays; only candidates with at least 1 year of ER-related experience are eligible; candidates should be capable of managing critical drips, EKGs, IVs, and port access, and should be familiar with specialized equipment such as Alaris Pumps and Zoll defibrillators.
