Registered Nurse / Pre Op Registered Nurses

Job Summary:
Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) Day shift Location unspecified. This role involves providing intraoperative patient care and preparing patients for surgery in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The candidate must be well-rounded, experienced in inpatient surgical procedures, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 1 year of experience in Preoperative nursing, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as PALS are preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work between 0530 and 0600 start times. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend requirements. Candidates must be open to working three or more major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). The assignment includes inpatient surgical cases such as general surgery, orthopedics, cardiac, and neurological procedures. RTO (Reasonable Time Off) must be included at the time of submission and is subject to approval. The facility is a 15-bed acute care hospital with various interdisciplinary support services available. Candidates should be prepared for potential float between nearby facilities and must adhere to local radius and policy guidelines.
