Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position in a hospital setting. This nighttime role involves caring for laboring patients, antepartum, mother/baby/post-partum patients, and circulating for cesarean sections. The position requires maintaining clinical excellence in a fast-paced environment supporting high-risk obstetric cases.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license, ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate certifications, BLS, and NRPS. Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, antepartum, or mother/baby care. Experience with electronic fetal monitoring using Epic, high-risk obstetric care, postpartum, and neonatal assessments are required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, LTAC experience, trauma Level I or II experience, and travel experience are preferred.
  • Additional Information: Responsibilities include management of high-risk pregnancies, labor support, neonatal assessments, performing cesarean section circulations, and implementing special procedures possibly including amniocentesis or fetal monitoring techniques. No on-call, no holidays or weekends required, and no float to other units.
