Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing high-pressure situations with clinical expertise in obstetrical nursing.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or related obstetrical nursing, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Womens Health, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a level I or level II trauma facility, community hospital experience, familiarity with charting systems such as Community Hospital`s electronic medical record system
• Special Skills: Administration of blood and blood products, assist with vaginal delivery and cesarean sections, use of electronic fetal monitoring, sterile vaginal exam, triage of obstetrical patients, epidural anesthesia, postpartum care including fundus, lochia, and perineum care, use of infusion pumps and external fetal monitoring
• Other Details: Duration of assignment from 09/13/2026 to 12/13/2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The candidate must complete required onboarding and documentation within specified timelines to ensure compliance and readiness for assignment.
