Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor nurse in a healthcare facility located in a diverse adult patient care setting. The position involves providing post-surgical care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity (bariatric surgery). The role requires float coverage and the ability to adapt to unit-specific equipment and protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/23/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid activeRegistered Nurse (RN) license verified through NURSYS report, current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical (MS) nursing with documented travel experience, current drivers license with matching address, EMR experience with EPIC, and RTO (Reason To Return) must be included at submission
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with common patient diagnosis including post-surgical care and familiarity with specialized equipment such as intravenous (IV) pumps, nasogastric (N/G) tubes, and feeding tubes
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Candidates must submit up-to-date resumes reflecting clinical experience and travel history. Scrub color designated as navy blue. The role involves caring for adult patients with a broad spectrum of post-surgical conditions.
