Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse position in a hospital setting located in a 14-bed unit. This role involves providing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, with responsibilities including circulating and working with a team to meet staffing needs. The assignment includes orientation dates starting on 10/05/2026 through 10/26/2026, with scheduled start on 10/26/2026. The position offers a 12-hour shift during the day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, and requires flexibility to meet staffing demands.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 and ending 01/23/2027
  • Required Qualifications: Valid multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS (Basic Life Support); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification; at least two years of experience in Labor and Delivery; prior travel experience preferred; must be able to circulate.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner or GE Centricity EMR systems; experience in a hospital setting with similar unit size and patient ratios.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/05, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26; no block schedule offered; staff must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs; no time off approved from 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live; IVS to interview; manager to extend offers.
