Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse opportunity available in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves providing high-quality specialized nursing care in an inpatient setting during night shifts. The position is ideal for experienced ICU nurses seeking an engaging and dynamic work environment with a focus on patient recovery and safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Illinois nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; two or more years of ICU experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Three to five years of ICU experience.
- Additional Information: The role requires the nurse to float to all other inpatient units as needed. This position involves working every other weekend and being scheduled for holidays if not requested off. Orientation is scheduled for six hours, non-billable, starting on the first day. The assignment begins on 09/27/2026 and concludes on 12/20/2026; orientation is non-billable and lasts six hours.
