Registered Nurse / Interventional Radiology

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse in Savannah, GA. This high-acuity unit specializes in Angiography and Interventional Labs within a Level I Trauma Center. The role involves managing critically ill patients requiring advanced procedures such as thrombectomy, atherectomy, stroke, trauma care, and various vascular interventions. The position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, starting 09/28/2026 and ending 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS); valid license in the state; experience in critical care, angiography or interventional radiology; prior ICU or emergency room experience; flexible to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke and trauma patient management, proficiency with specialized IR equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream, and familiarity with EPIC Cupid documentation system.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit staffed with a lead tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, RCIS, forming 3-4 person teams (2 techs, 2 RNs).
  • Procedures performed include port placements, thrombectomy, atherectomy, TIPS, EVAR, PE, stroke, and trauma interventions.
  • Dress code requires royal blue and black uniforms for RNs, navy blue and black for technicians.
  • Unit is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and Stroke Center, characterized by high-acuity patient care and advanced technology.
