Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Social Worker for a travel assignment in a Level I Trauma facility. This position involves working days from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a focus on discharge planning, psychosocial assessments, and coordination of care. Candidates must have prior travel experience and meet specific licensure and educational requirements. The assignment duration is approximately eight weeks, beginning on October 5, 2026.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW), Florida or Compact license on file at the time of submission, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level I Trauma facility, prior travel experience in a Level I Trauma facility, EMR experience with Cerner, at least 2 years of experience, 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Extensive experience with discharge planning, Cerner, Care Port, psychosocial assessments, advanced directives, social determinants of health, and fast-paced environment performance.
• Additional Information: Orientation is scheduled for 09/21/2026. Candidates should have experience working in an acute care hospital, with skills in discharge planning, psychosocial assessments, and knowledge of health and community resources. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
