Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Neurology Floor

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Neurology Floor Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position located in Neenah, WI. The role involves providing specialized nursing care within a 16-bed neurology unit focusing on stroke, post-operative spinal and brain surgeries, and trauma patients. The selected candidate will deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced setting while managing complex neurological and trauma cases.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Schedule: Guaranteed 36 hours per week, with up to every other weekend work and holiday rotation based on unit needs
• Required Qualifications: WI RN license (or compact license), AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); minimum of 3+ years of RN experience, including 1+ year in Medical Surgical Neurology or Step-down ICU; charting experience in EPIC within the last year strongly preferred
• Additional Information: Prior travel experience is highly preferred; experience with stroke, post-op spinal and brain surgeries, and neuro trauma care is strongly desired. Candidates should have the ability to manage change effectively, demonstrate resilience, and work diligently. A current Associate Degree or Certificate is required. Experience in stroke and post-op back/spine/cervical surgeries, along with proficiency in specific medication management, is preferred.
