Registered Nurse / Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit

Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit (PACU Ambulatory) will be responsible for delivering high-quality post-anesthesia care within an outpatient setting. This role involves monitoring and managing patient recovery following procedures, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to clinical protocols in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

  • Location: CABOT the organizations outpatient care center
  • Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Ambulatory Unit
  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts with variable daytime hours, rotating shifts may be required; minimum 30 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the relevant state; graduation from an accredited nursing program; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 0 years of professional nursing experience in a perioperative or post-anesthesia setting; adherence to facility location requirements
  • Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; previous experience in an ambulatory or post-anesthesia care environment
  • Additional Information: The role involves ensuring continuous patient assessment, managing post-procedure recovery, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide optimal care. Candidates should be capable of working in a fast-paced outpatient setting, demonstrating excellent patient care skills and clinical judgment.
