Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves providing compassionate, patient-centered care to women during childbirth and the postpartum period. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective care, ensuring positive outcomes for mothers and infants.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse license; American Heart Association (AHA) Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); no experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Labor and Delivery or Antepartum.
• Additional Information: The role involves integrating safety principles and national patient safety goals into practice; administering medications; utilizing technology and standardized practices to support safety and quality; and promoting active patient and family engagement in care to enhance safety. The position may include overseeing unlicensed assistive personnel in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.
