Registered Nurse / Step Down Unit

Job Summary
Step Down Unit Nurse Days shift working in a specialized patient care environment, this role involves caring for patients with complex medical needs, including post-operative cardiac surgery and telemetry monitoring. The position requires strong clinical skills and experience with a surgical patient population.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Nursys license verification, professional drivers license or state ID, professional references, completion of Ascension skills checklist, and professional profile verification. No minimum experience required.
• Additional Information: The candidate must have extensive experience with surgical patient populations and telemetry. Responsibilities include monitoring post-operative cardiac patients such as those with open heart surgeries, heart transplants, LVADs, leg bypass procedures, rib resections, and pneumonectomies.
