Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Night Shift Location: Not Specified. This role involves providing direct nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Adult Emergency Room setting during the night shift. The position requires administering patient care according to established policies and protocols, monitoring patient conditions, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and managing discharge planning. The shift schedule is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and every other weekend requirements.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 19:00 07:30, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification via AHA (American Heart Association), current Nursys license, completion of Ascension skills checklist, at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency nursing and trauma settings.
• Additional Information: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures. Implement and monitor patient care plans, assess and coordinate patient discharge needs, and serve as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
