Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse for a facility located in the emergency care environment. This role involves providing direct patient care during night shifts, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams in an adult trauma emergency room setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensure verification with Nursys; appropriate licensing/certification; professional profile completed; two professional references; completion of Ascension skills checklist
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with healthcare team members. Serve as a primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care; note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
