Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurses are needed for a facility located in the area. The role involves caring for a patient population that includes medical, cardiac, pre/post cardiovascular surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow. This assignment is focused on providing specialized patient care within a 28-bed unit, with a typical patient ratio of 1:4-5. The position offers an engaging environment for healthcare professionals dedicated to cardiology and acute patient management.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state and certification in basic life support (BLS). No minimum experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac, medical, or post-surgical patient populations is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing a diverse cardiac patient population within a specialized acute care setting. Candidates should be prepared to adhere to hospital protocols and demonstrate clinical competency through an Ascension skills checklist.
