Registered Nurse / Step Down Unit

Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Nurse for a facility specializing in medical care, including conditions such as diabetic ketoacidosis, cardiac, gastrointestinal, renal issues, sepsis, trauma, and surgery. This position is dedicated to the Stroke Unit with a capacity of 30 beds and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certification verification, minimum of 0 years of experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and relevant location requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in stroke or step-down units.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include adhering to facility protocols, completing the Ascension skills checklist, utilizing the electronic health record appropriately, and maintaining compliance with clinical standards.
