Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Trauma

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Trauma (ICU Trauma) nurse position in a Level 1 Trauma center. The role involves providing specialized critical care for patients including those with trauma, stroke, burns, and transplant needs. The position is available for a contract starting on September 28, 2026, through December 27, 2026, with a schedule of night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license through Nursys, relevant ICU trauma experience or 1 year of healthcare experience, and current professional references.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma center or transplant unit is considered advantageous.
• Additional Information: The unit maintains a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1, utilizes Royal Blue scrubs, and adheres to holiday and weekend rotation requirements. The facility operates Sunrise electronic charting system and is recognized as a Level 1 Trauma center with stroke, transplant, and burn services. Patients include those with motor vehicle collisions, gunshot wounds, stabbings, falls, cerebrovascular accidents, craniotomies, aneurysm ruptures, external ventricular drains, and lumbar drains.
