Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) is seeking a qualified Critical Care Registered Nurse to join a cardiac intensive care team in an acute care setting. The position involves managing both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery intensive care patients, with a focus on advanced device management including Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and left ventricular assist devices (LVAD). The role requires proficiency in caring for complex cardiac patients and utilizing specialized equipment in a fast-paced environment.

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 12/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certified as a registered nurse with valid licensure, minimum of 0 years of experience, ability to care for cardiac ICU patients, experience with Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage preferred, located within commuting distance of the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with NxStage systems, certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) preferred.
• Additional Information: The unit maintains a patient ratio of 2:1, caring for patients with specialized devices and complex medical needs. Candidates must complete the Ascension skills checklist and provide professional references.
