Job Summary
Preoperative Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a hospital setting committed to delivering high-quality perioperative care. The role involves evaluating, preparing, and supporting patients through surgical procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective communication among the care team. The ideal candidate will be integral to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California RN licensure; 0 years of experience; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); experience in perioperative or preoperative care within past 2 years
• Preferred Qualifications: Ambulatory surgery or phase II experience; EPIC charting system experience
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role includes participating in assessments, developing nursing care plans, and providing patient education. Candidates will collaborate with physicians and surgical teams to ensure smooth perioperative processes. Orientation hours will be provided, and candidates must complete all onboarding requirements within designated timeframes.
