Registered Nurse / Endoscopy Lab

Job Summary:
Endoscopy Lab (Endoscopy Laboratory) Located in an acute care environment, this position involves providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The role requires assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient needs in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards, ensuring high-quality, safe, and effective care delivery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice or eligible for licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 0 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting or related specialty. Clinical performance competencies must be maintained through annual validations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree in nursing and professional certification relevant to endoscopy or gastroenterology. Additional related education and experience are desirable.
• Additional Information: The position involves direct patient care activities typical of an endoscopy suite, including pre- and post-procedure assessments, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment requiring effective communication and assessment skills.
