Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a hospital setting. The position involves providing care for diverse patient types, including overflow of post-operative surgical hips and knees, with a focus on med surg and telemetry units. The role requires interaction with various patient populations and adherence to clinical protocols in a fast-paced environment located in a healthcare facility.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Medical Surgical or Medical Surgical Telemetry experience, active Iowa or multistate nursing license, EMR experience with EPIC or similar systems, BLS certification through AHA or ARC, and a drivers license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Professional references within the last 24 months, experience in tele units, and ability to extend beyond initial 13-week contract.
• Float: Float rotation may be required across all campuses.
• Additional Information: Candidates must quickly be available for interviews via phone call or text, with orientation scheduled to start on 05/26/2026. No blocked shifts. The department prefers applicants able to commit to extend beyond the initial assignment.
