Job Summary:
Long Term Care Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) position is available for an experienced professional seeking to provide compassionate care in a transitional care setting. Located in the Seattle, WA area, this role involves supporting adult and geriatric patients with daily activities and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. The position offers a consistent schedule and opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour days from 06:00 to 14:30, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license; Minimum of 1 year of skilled long-term care or transitional care experience; BLS certification; no experience requirement specified for initial certification; location within 50 miles considered local
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in long-term care and transitional care units preferred; familiarity with electronic charting systems, specifically Net Solutions; ability to assist with ambulation, feeding, repositioning, and other patient care activities
- Float: Float rotation required, typically spending 3 shifts/24 hours in transitional care with the remaining time floating to other units
- Additional Information: The candidate must have reliable transportation and no additional scheduling restrictions, including flexibility to work holidays as part of the two-week schedule. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend. Standard support services including interdisciplinary team support and free parking are available.
