Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) registered nurses are sought for a fast-paced, high-volume emergency border care setting. Located in a healthcare facility that handles a variety of patient diagnoses with a focus on adult and geriatric populations, this role entails providing dedicated patient care within a dynamic environment. The position begins on September 28, 2026, with a contract duration of approximately 20 weeks.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (07:00-19:30), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Maryland or Compact state nursing license, BLS, NIHSS, CPI certifications; ACLS preferred; 0 years minimum experience required; must possess charting experience with Epic electronic medical record system; minimum 2 years of professional nursing experience; 6 months of patient ratio experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in telemetry and medical-surgical units; experience managing ports, blood products, cardiac telemetry, and wound care
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: This position requires adaptability to work across various units, including MS/Tele, within a high-volume hospital setting. Candidates must be comfortable floating without restrictions and comply with all certification and licensing requirements prior to the start date.
