Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room Location varies. This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent medical conditions. Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members is essential to ensure safe, timely, and compassionate care delivery.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); minimum of 0 years of emergency nursing experience required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of emergency nursing experience; previous experience in a high-volume Emergency Department; strong communication, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
  • Additional Information: The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, initiate emergency nursing interventions, administer medications and therapies, assist with trauma resuscitations, and ensure accurate documentation. The role involves high-stakes decision-making in a clinical environment that requires rapid, effective responses to emergent situations.
