Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves providing care to adult patients requiring medical surgical interventions in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to manage multiple patient discharges and clinical responsibilities efficiently during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, starting 10/05/2026 and ending 01/17/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. No specific location requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is optional.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround and discharges. Must adhere to the schedule, as no requests for time off during the Christmas holiday period are permitted. Contract negotiations need to be finalized to cover the winter holiday season.
