Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a California license to provide outpatient mental health services. The role involves facilitating psychotherapy and skills groups, documenting clinical interventions, and participating in treatment planning within a busy outpatient setting. This full-time position offers a stable schedule on the day shift, starting in early October 2026 and concluding in early January 2027.

Job Details:

• Location: Outpatient setting with a facility at 15891 Los Gatos Almaden Road, Los Gatos, CA 95032.
• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Masters degree in social work, completion of at least 2 years post-graduation from a masters program, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and full licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), experience running psychotherapy or skills groups.
• Clinical Responsibilities: Facilitate psychotherapy and skills groups, document groups in Meditech electronic medical records system, conduct psychosocial assessments, develop and update treatment plans, participate in treatment team meetings, discharge planning, and conduct safety assessments as needed.
• Dress Code: Business casual attire; jeans are not acceptable.
• Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach relevant policies and guidelines.
• Additional Information: The unit features a staff of eight, including one registered nurse and six outpatient therapists (LMFT or LCSW licensed). The department runs five groups daily, each with ten patients. The environment is equipped with Meditech electronic health records and emphasizes a collaborative team approach.
