Registered Nurse / Telemetry

Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nursing position in a surgical telemetry unit located in Lewisville, Texas. This role involves providing patient care on a 19-bed unit that includes adult medical-surgical patients, with a focus on telemetry monitoring. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to support both day shift operations in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, at least 2 years of medical-surgical (MS) nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, preceptor experience.
• Unit Information:
  • Location: 1st Floor, B Tower, 500 West Main Street, Lewisville TX 75077
  • Bed Count: 19 beds
  • Staff: RN, LVN, PCT team
  • Staffing: Day shift with 1 charge nurse, 3-4 nurses (RN/LVN), and 1-2 PCTs; night shift with similar staffing.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:6
  • Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines
  • EMR System: Meditech
• Typical Procedures: Ambulation, wound care, PRN treatments
• Personality Fit: Positive attitude and team player mentality
