Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized obstetric and postpartum care, with shifts during daytime hours. The position requires a compassionate and experienced RN to support the department`s operations and patient needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Certifications Needed: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 2+ years of experience in labor and delivery, certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and fetal monitoring
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with longer contracts covering winter holiday periods
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The position involves caring for a unit with 7 LDRP beds, 2 triage beds, 10 postpartum beds, and 2 obstetric operating rooms. The facility seeks candidates who are capable of managing a high-acuity obstetric population and are knowledgeable in current obstetric nursing practices and protocols.
