Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse in a rehabilitation hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients recovering from neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The position emphasizes patient-centered treatment and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to maximize recovery and improve quality of life.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 0 years of experience, and current registration in the state.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient acute rehabilitation and familiarity with neurological or orthopedic patient care.
- Additional Information: The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications, implementing care plans, and documenting patient progress according to regulatory standards. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
