Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility within the surgical unit. This contract position involves working in a busy surgical environment performing a variety of procedures. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes during perioperative care. The assignment duration is set for 13 weeks, starting on September 21, 2026, with a typical schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 10 hours shift, a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Pending valid RN license, Certification of Surgical Technology from accredited entities are required for surgical technologists.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in orthopedic, general surgery, robotic procedures, urology, breast oncology, podiatry, ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgeries.
• Additional Information: Call is required with rotations on weekdays and weekends (24-hour shifts). The unit has 4 beds and a staff of approximately 23 members, including RN and CSTs. The unit uses Meditech electronic health record system and maintains strict policies and guidelines to ensure high-quality patient care.
