Licensed Practical Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor nurse in the local area provides specialized nursing care to patients recovering from severe injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. This position involves delivering customized, high-quality rehabilitation services within a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to promoting recovery, functional improvement, and enhanced quality of life for patients. The nurse will work on a day shift, supporting ongoing patient care throughout the rehabilitation process.

Job Details:

• Position Description: Local rate of $55. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care on a medical-surgical rehabilitation floor, supporting patients through recovery and functional improvement.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), a minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience, and ability to work on a day shift.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with neurological, trauma, spinal cord injury, orthopedic, or amputation patient populations is preferred.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital focused on interdisciplinary team collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.
