Operating Room Tech / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialty in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing surgical support for cardiac procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, VAD insertions, and other advanced cardiac surgeries. The position requires extensive CVOR experience and offers an opportunity to work in a highly recognized facility known for surgical excellence and patient safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: CST, BLS; Education requirements: relevant surgical technologist or equivalent training; Location: Asheville, North Carolina; Experience: extensive expertise in the Scrub Role for CVOR procedures; No minimum experience listed, but applicant must have CVOR experience and have completed at least two travel assignments.
• Preferred Qualifications: First Assist experience and proficiency is preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: Must have CVOR experience and been on at least two prior travel assignments; certification in CST and BLS is mandatory. The hospital provides scrubs, and the facility will supply the required uniform. Staff may be required to float as needed, and on-call shifts will be assigned and rotated. Cases are highly efficient with excellent surgical outcomes, and the facility is recognized for safety and quality standards.
