Licensed Practical Nurse / Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor

Job Description

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor (MS REHAB) in a rehabilitation setting. This role involves providing care for adult patients with neurological or orthopedic injuries, including stroke, amputation, and joint replacements. The position emphasizes patient-centered care and requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher, hospital experience of 1-2 years, must be able to work in the United States, and no minimum experience required for this specific role.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Rehabilitation experience and familiarity with adult and geriatric patient populations.
  • Additional Information: Hospital experience is a must. The unit has 14 or 12 beds with patient ratios of approximately 1:7 for RNs, 1:10 for LPNs, and 1:12 for technicians. On-site equipment includes an EKG machine and bladder scanner, using the Cerner electronic health record system. The shift begins on 09/14/2026 and ends on 12/14/2026. Scrubs are royal blue.
