Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position located in the facility. This role involves supporting multiple medical surgical units, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and unit-specific procedures. The assignment includes rotating shifts, days and nights, with every other weekend and holiday requirements, providing a dynamic and challenging environment for experienced nurses.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating days and nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Start Date: 01/04/2027
• End Date: 02/27/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license, 3+ years of related work experience, prior travel nursing experience, current CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications, basic computer skills, experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and with specialty areas. Level I trauma experience preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the facility`s medical surgical units, supporting a diverse patient population and multiple specialties.
• Additional Information: Orientation is weekly, scheduled every Monday barring holidays. All RTO requests must be presented at the time of submission; no more than three days of RTO are permitted. Nursing staff must be prepared to support telemetry monitoring, ventilator management (if applicable), and unit procedures such as 12-lead EKGs, Lasix administration, blood transfusions, and telemetry monitoring.
