Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position is based in the healthcare facility setting. The assignment involves providing direct patient care, overseeing clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The role supports the organizations goal of delivering high-quality, safe, and effective nursing care on a shift basis.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights shift from 6:45 AM to 7:17 PM with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 0 years of nursing experience; valid RN licensure; ability to work nights shifts as specified
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro, cardiac, or stepdown units; telemetry certification; strong clinical assessment skills; team leadership experience
  • Additional Information: The IMCU / PCU / Stepdown Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
