Registered Nurse / Labor And Delivery Department

Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is sought for an assignment in a birthing center. This position involves providing direct patient care in the Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum Care, and Newborn Care units. The assignment offers a high level of clinical responsibility within a dynamic perinatal environment, emphasizing collaboration and priority in patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 01/17/2027
• Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; at least 1 year of labor, delivery, post-partum, and newborn care experience; Epic electronic medical record experience from within the past 2 years; experience working in a birthing department including labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care; prior travel experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required for med surg and emergency department units.
• Additional Information: Assignment duration is 16-26 weeks. Shifts are scheduled for Monday through Sunday, with no block schedules. Orientation sessions occur bi-weekly on Mondays. All employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained. Complete work history details, including bed count, electronic medical record system, and facility type, are required for submission.
