Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Description

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Professional in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care within the ICU environment. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient education. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential. The position requires active participation in resolving variances from patient goals and ensuring the implementation of solutions.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
    • Current licensure by the state nursing board
    • Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
    • Location requirements: None specified
    • Years of experience: 2 or more years in ICU
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information:
    • Auto offers approved for 13-week contract.
    • The nurse will be expected to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services within the ICU.
    • Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare personnel is critical.
    • The role involves participation in clinical decision-making and adherence to ICU protocols and standards.
    • The candidate must be available to start on 09/22/2026 and work through 12/19/2026.
