Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry nurses are needed for a rotational shift position at a healthcare facility in the area. This role involves supporting multiple medical-surgical units, focusing on telemetry monitoring and general patient care. The position offers flexible scheduling with a focus on weekend rotations and holiday coverage, suitable for experienced Registered Nurses seeking travel or local assignments.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Rotating Day/Night shifts with a combination of 8 and 12-hour shifts, rotating days, nights, and every other weekend.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license required, 3+ years of related work experience, prior travel experience preferred, CPR-AHA, ACLS-AHA certifications, basic computer skills, Epic electronic medical records experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise, Level I trauma experience.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Support in a 600-bed facility with 15 medical-surgical units specializing in neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, hips and joints, oncology, transplant liver and kidneys, and vascular. Inpatient patient ratios average from 4:1 on days to 6:1 on nights. Orientation is weekly every Monday barring a holiday. Support for ventilators, nebulizers, blood transfusions, telemetry monitoring, 12-lead EKGs, Lasix GTTs. Travel nurses are assigned in 2-3 week periods with some weeks receiving assignments 2 hours prior to shift. No set schedule is guaranteed, but RTO requests are honored.
