Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position in Mayfield, Kentucky. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical floor serving all ages, with a focus on patients with diagnoses such as COPD, post-op joints, and diabetic populations. The position requires compassionate and caring professionals to deliver quality care in a busy inpatient setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shift time, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure to work as an RN in Kentucky; Certifications include ACLS, BLS, CPI or equivalent; 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with diverse patient populations, including geriatric and adult patients; familiarity with MediTech electronic health record system.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, with possible assignment to like units.
• Additional Information: Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays. Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel. Candidates are required to have all necessary certifications prior to start date.
