Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical With Telemetry

Job Summary
This Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) position is located in an acute care setting. The role involves providing patient care on a 12-hour day shift, with every other weekend required. The selected candidate must possess current licensing and certifications, including CPR and ACLS, and have experience with ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management. Epic electronic health record experience is mandatory, and candidates must successfully pass ECG/telemetry testing during onboarding.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 01/05/2027 and ending on 02/27/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Current MA license; CPR-AHA; ACLS-AHA; Ventilator management; Vasoactive and sedation titration; Hemodynamic monitoring; Cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management; Epic experience. A minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification is preferred.
• Additional Information: This staffing need is for an 8-week assignment. Travelers do not need a separation period from their current employer to submit to this open order. Candidates must pass ECG/telemetry testing during onboarding, including a pass/fail ECG/tele test and medications test administered via Zoom prior to acceptance. Testing must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation, with an 85% passing score required. There is no opportunity for remediation or re-sit. No tele techs are utilized in this unit; all RNs are required to read and interpret their own strips. Candidates are limited to one attempt to pass the tests.
