Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a Southern California healthcare facility. This role involves delivering specialized nursing care to critically ill patients, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires highly skilled clinical judgment and adherence to established standards of care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Acute care facility experience preferred, Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required, facility specific BLS certification required
  • Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient health data; analyzes assessment data for diagnosis and care planning; develops and implements care plans; monitors and evaluates patient progress; collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a safe, healing environment; provides education and discharge planning; delegates duties appropriately and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Additional Information: The role involves providing critical care to ICU patients, adhering to strict protocols, and participating in interdisciplinary collaboration. Applicants must be available to start on 09/28/2026 and work through 12/27/2026, with no holiday time off approval for holiday RTO.
