Registered Nurse / Nurse Manager

Job Summary:
Nurse Manager, located in the Sacramento metropolitan area, overseeing cavitation care management services. This role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating service lines to improve care quality, promote continuity, and ensure cost-effectiveness through case management, utilization review, and care planning. The position is onsite and offers a structured schedule with standard hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing (BSN); RN licensure in the state of practice; 0 years of experience minimum.
• Preferred Qualifications: Nursing experience; Certified Case Manager (CCM); 5-10 years of acute and ancillary experience in multiple modalities; experience working in a health plan on utilization management and case management activities; strong communication skills and experience coaching patients/members through their healthcare journey.
• Additional Information: Partners with internal and external physician advisors, claims department, and data analytics teams to ensure safeguards and desired outcomes for the member population. Performs and coordinates preventative care, wellness, and nutritional counseling. Collaborates with staff to meet medical necessity criteria, manages discharge planning, and performs other related duties as assigned.
