Registered Nurse / Progressive Care Unit

Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position is located in a regional facility known for clinical excellence and specialized services. The role involves providing patient care within a high-acuity environment, with the flexibility to work all shift times, including days, nights, and mids. This is a temporary assignment intended to support the unit`s staffing needs over a specified period.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with shifts including days, nights, and mids based on staffing needs.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, and at least 0 years of experience. Must have all Pennsylvania clearances, including Child Abuse History, FBI, and State Police. Candidates must have Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) experience, with a minimum of 2+ years preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac experience, positive attitude, and the ability to work in a high-intensity environment.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have completed and uploaded all clearances prior to start date. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays. The position involves working with a cardiac geriatric patient population, including post-op cardiac cath and pacemaker patients. The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should be able to work on short notice, have necessary certifications, and meet all screening requirements before the start date.
