Registered Nurse / Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position is a backfill need with an immediate start available. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care, working night shifts, with a focus on meeting patient needs and unit responsibilities. The assignment requires flexibility regarding schedule adjustments to support unit operations and patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Not specified
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Active NY nursing license or proof of application with applied date (expected processing time of 6-8 weeks)
  • Certification in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Minimum of 1 year of specialty experience in emergency nursing
  • Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years
  • Prior travel experience preferred
  • Charge nursing experience preferred
• Additional Information:
  • IVS to OFFER
  • Work schedule includes Monday to Sunday, with no block schedules
  • Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available date to be confirmed
  • This position has holiday requirements but no call responsibilities
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required for submission
  • Reliable transportation is essential; personal or rental vehicle recommended during months of November through April with all-season or snow tires
