Job Summary
Postpartum Floor Nurse located at a healthcare organization in Wichita, Kansas, specializing in postpartum maternal and neonatal care. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a busy post-partum unit with high-risk patients. The unit supports a team-oriented environment and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate travel professionals.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, minimum of 1-year current acute care postpartum hospital experience, and valid healthcare license.
- Preferred Qualifications: High-risk postpartum experience and Level 2 Nursery experience.
- Additional Information: The unit is a close-knit team managing a high patient volume, delivering between 400-500 babies monthly. The unit`s policies must be followed according to healthcare standards and behavior policies. Flexibility in scheduling is available, and the team values a positive attitude and a hardworking nature.
