Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical Floor

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for providing competent clinical nursing care, coordinating patient care utilizing the nursing process, and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. The role involves supporting patient education, performing bedside assessments, and ensuring quality care delivery aligned with professional standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross); 0 years of nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing
• Additional Information: The role includes participation in patient education programs, discharge planning, safety management, and applying healthcare standards and regulatory guidelines. The nurse will be involved in care planning, complex problem management, and promoting cost-effective and high-quality care.
